Hello! My name is Kayla Velasquez.
I'm a designer passionate about all things visual, from pixels to print. My design journey started way back when I was around 12, battling my siblings for computer time so that I could customize my Neopets page in MS Paint! That led to tinkering with Myspace profiles (remember those?), where I actually picked up some basic HTML/CSS—skills I still use today, believe it or not!
These days, my love for design is stronger than ever. I'm a firm believer in using visual communication to make information accessible to everyone.
To keep my creative juices flowing and my skills sharp, I also love getting my hands dirty with traditional art like painting and pottery. When I'm not designing or creating, you can usually find me exploring the beautiful Sonoran Desert, probably with my binoculars in hand, birdwatching, and hiking.
