Hi! I’m Kayla Velasquez.
I’m a graphic designer with 10 years of professional experience, and I love every part of the creative process. From the initial sketches that spark ideas, to the final production. I’m happiest when I’m solving a tricky design problem.
As a queer Hispanic woman from the beautiful Sonoran Desert, my perspective naturally finds its way into my work. I’m drawn to earthy, natural color palettes, tactile textures, and the charm of things that feel handmade and human. I love experimenting with new techniques, illustrating, chasing design trends (while occasionally side-eyeing them), and finding fresh ways to tell a story visually. I believe good design should be thoughtful, accessible, and inclusive.
When I’m not designing, you’ll probably find me outside with a pair of binoculars, happily getting distracted by birds and whatever else catches my eye. When I’m home, I’m usually on the couch with my pugs and cats (my very useless flurry creative assistants).
Thanks for stopping by! I’m glad you’re here.
